99 Reasons to Bake on Sunday
I love catching up on the weekends, which always means food prep for the upcoming week. Yesterday was a “sweet” day of prep as opposed to a “savory” one. One of our kids requested a favorite cookie of mine – Chocolate Mint Cookies. These are SOOO good and have also been my daughter’s favorite since middle school. They are just sweet enough but not overly, soft yet chewy. Yin yang comes to mind for obvious reasons. The mint and chocolate combination have every taster hooked. In a Palm Springs, CA television interview a few years ago on KMIR TV’s Foodie Friday, one of the interviewers likened them to the ever-popular Girl Scout Thin Mints. WOW, I’ll take that compliment as those have always been a fave! But what are the 99 reasons to make them? This recipe seriously makes 99 little bites of paradise! They not only taste good but also look like little pieces of art. Each one is a little different. Enjoy!
